Finding a mobility device and equipment to help your special needs child can be very confusing and frustrating. We have attempted to provide you with a wide range of information on this page to help you become informed. We have children who utilize the TAOS with a variety of diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, Spina Bifida, Rhett syndrome, downs syndrome and blind children. The links below will take you to various short videos (1-4 minutes in length) that are designed to help you understand what the TAOS is. There is also information on this site that you can share with your orthotist or therapist as well. We are not trying to convince you to get a TAOS, but simply providing you with information to help you make the best decision for your family. If you have questions that are not answered anywhere on this site please do not hesitate to call us toll free and we will take all the time you need to get all of your questions answered.

The TAOS is covered by Medicaid and most insurance carriers. Families can obtain a TAOS and still get other types of special needs equipment such as gait trainers, standers and other reverse walkers. Now you do not have to choose, you can easily add the TAOS to give you and your child a variety of equipment to keep everyone motivated!
We like to think of the TAOS as another tool for you to use to get your child active and mobile while building his confidence and sense of independence.
